The Coaches
Classes will be taken by our two award winning and highly successful coaches, Caz Rawlings and Eddie Orgee.

Caz was a British Schools National Champion, a Junior Britsh Champion and a GB Cadet International Squad member and has won numerous events, both at home and abroad, including the prestigeous and extremely tough Venray International Championship.

Caz was voted the Medway Sportsperson of the Year Silver Award winner in 2018 and has medalled at World Masters level on a number of occasions.
In 2016 and 2017 she won World Masters Bronze medals and then in 2018 she took the Silver medal at the World Masters Championships, which were held in Mexico.  She has also won 2 x Bronze medals at the European Masters Championships and took a Silver at both the 2018 and 2019 Commonwealth Masters Championships.  In 2022 Caz took Gold at the US Open Masters in style winning all fights with Ippon, and then in 2024 Caz won Gold at the Commonwealth Judo Championships in Malta and made history at the same event by also winning the first ever Gold medal at the newly added Commonwealth Ne-Waza (Groundwork) event within the Commonwealth Judo Championships.
Caz has been the British Masters Champion in her category, is a current GB Masters squad member. 
Eddie is a Commonwealth Masters champion, taking Gold in 2019 along with a Silver medal in 2018 and a Bronze in 2012.  He has been the British Masters Champion in his category on several occasions, including 2022, he took a 5th place at the World Masters Judo Championships in 2019 and is a current member of the GB Masters squad.  In 2018 he was awarded the honour of being voted Medway Sports Coach of the Year and is a 5th Dan Black Belt.

Both are still competitively active and are qualified to UKCC Level 2 in Coaching Judo.  They are First Aid trained and fully DBS checked.

Between them they bring a huge amount of experience and knowledge to the classes, which will always be interesting, fun and structured to meet the needs of those taking part.
